That led Hoddy to join the Maine Senate where he drafted the location of development law and the first wet wetlands control law, which applied to coastal waters. Carol has been an English teacher for the Upward Bound program and also works for the Regional Gifted and Talented program. As a member of Caribou Kiwanis Club, Aroostook Retired Teachers’ Association, Northern Skiers and Nordic Heritage Sports Center, Carol remains quite active in the community. She is also a director for the Nylander Museum and the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum.
