“Trailer registration rules were costing us, and other small marinas like ours, a lot of money. After getting shut down by all the bureaucrats in Augusta we called Peter Mills on a Sunday night at home. I said, ‘remember when we were Boy Scouts together. You were a good problem solver then, see if you can solve this.’ By Tuesday Peter fixed the problem. That’s the kind of problem solver we need to lead Maine.” – John and Judy Marsh, Paul’s Marina on Casco Bay

John Marsh of West Gardiner spent 23 years in the Maine Warden Service retiring as Chief warden in 1988.
